In order to keep my illustrator skills sharp and experimenting, I'm doing a daily challenge with breakfast that changes every month and adds to my portfolio.
You'll find them recorded on my Instagram page, where you can see the latest challenge.
Most challenges involve taking no more than 25 minutes on the day's contribution.
September 2019
Taking a sheet of A1 paper folded in 7 by 5 segments, I set about creating an imaginary map with connecting roads, buildings, landmarks, characters and little scenes. Focusing on a square a day enabled me to create a spread comparable to those in search and find books - and the square folds give potential for turning it into a board game.
